ONLY MERCY
¨ We have not been consumed by the mercy of Jehovah, because his mercies never declined. New are every morning; great is your faithfulness. ”Lamentations 3:22 -23 (Reina-Valera 1960)
Day by day we face several types of situations that sometimes test our attitudes as children of God and many times we settle them, leaving aside what God really expects of us.

Like every human being in our daily life, we fail God, whether with lies, gossip, strife, pride, foolishness, vanities, intolerance etc .; We are so impulsive that sometimes we say things and act in an unpleasant way, that we instantly regret that.
But the impressive thing is that just as every day that passes we make our Heavenly Father feel bad for something, so every day he gives us his mercy, with this he wants to tell us: ¨ Children no matter what your sin, no matter what be your fight, here I am giving you a new opportunity¨.
God is so wonderful, that although we have done unpleasant things, even the past so dark that we had, he does not take that into account; sometimes we torment and delay the plan that He has for our lives, because we are still thinking about what has already happened, what we were before, his word says: “So if anyone is in Christ, new creature is; old things happened; Behold, they are all made new. ¨ 2 Corinthians 5:17. What are those old things that still haunt you ?, shake off them, that is already in the past, leave them behind, so you can be a new instrument used by God in a supernatural way.
The mercy of God is so great and infinite, which gives us privileges and opportunities that we do not deserve, He takes pity on us, He is not there to point us, on the contrary his greatest desire is to get up and to live the present, having enough faith to believe in the things he can give us and in what awaits us in the future. Do not judge yourself, do not punish yourself, God already forgive you, you just have to ask for strengths so as not to look back, so as not to fall back into the same.
Sometimes we lock ourselves in some bubbles where we do not let forgiveness, God's love and mercy reach us, we believe that apart and isolated from Him we will reach some peace. Do not be overwhelmed, do not mortify yourself thinking that if you did something wrong God will leave you, well no, he has a purpose with you and will not leave you until he has done what he has planned for you; From the experiences you learn and especially if they are not good, it is not worth living them again, if not we are left with lessons to help and advise other people who are going through a similar situation.
Do not feel sad if your family, friends turned their backs on you, if they judged you for doing something wrong, you have God and that is what counts, it must be the most important thing in our life, because if we have Him, we have everything, if you see that this decision or that error will take you away from the people you love the most, don't worry sometimes it is better to be "only" to live and know God deeply, fill ourselves with his presence and not depend emotionally on anything or from anyone, if not nothing more from our Heavenly Father.
When we understand how great that love is and that mercy will not affect you, we are children of a King, who far from harming us, what he does is preparing us for what is to come. Take every day the opportunity that God gives you to start over, try to live your life to the fullest and please Him in everything, that the bad things you did yesterday, do not repeat them today and if possible never repeat them.
In addition, we should not only pretend to receive mercy, just as forgiveness we have to be merciful to the people around us, we must have a kind, pleasant attitude towards those who have failed us.
"Be therefore merciful, just as your father is merciful"
Luke 6:36 (King James Version).
