WORSHIP GOD WITH UNDERSTANDING
Psalms 95:1-7
Reading passage : Psalms 98:4,"Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise."
God created us to sing praises, give thanks and worship Him with understanding by doing this our praises, thanksgiving and worship become a sweet smelling sacrifice accepted by God. Praising God and worshiping God with understanding means you know the following:Five W and H (5W H)
- Who you worship, thank and praise
- Why you worship, thank and praise God
- What you worship God for.
- How to praise and worship God
- Where to praise and worship God
- When to praise and worship God
Thanking and worshiping God with understanding refresh your spirit and make God happy and fulfilled creating you.
Psalms 97:1-9,"The Lord reigneth; let the earth rejoice; let the multitude of isles be glad thereof. Clouds and darkness are round about him: righteousness and judgment are the habitation of his throne. A fire goeth before him, and burneth up his enemies round about. His lightnings enlightened the world: the earth saw, and trembled.The hills melted like wax at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth.The heavens declare his righteousness, and all the people see his glory.Confounded be all they that serve graven images, that boast themselves of idols: worship him, all ye gods. Zion heard, and was glad; and the daughters of Judah rejoiced because of thy judgments, O Lord.
For thou, Lord, art high above all the earth: thou art exalted far above all gods."
Psalms 47:6-7,"Sing praises to God, sing praises: sing praises unto our King, sing praises. For God is the King of all the earth: sing ye praises with understanding."
