Steadfast in one Spirit. Philippians 1:27-30

People who will stand for God in times of persecution and suffering and lead change in the midst of it with joy are those who have a steadfast mind and are livingworthy of the gospel.

27.Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel;
28.And in nothing terrified by your adversaries: which is to them an evident token of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that of God.
29.For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake;
30.Having the same conflict which ye saw in me, and now hear to be in me.}

Paul in the passage called the Philippians to live a life that is worthy of the gospel of Christ. Not a life that is worthy of what people approved, but what is in line with the word of God. This life speaks God' 8 truth m a wicked world.

A life worthy of the gospel is a steadfast life, whatever the situation. They are to stand in faith, in one Spirit and strive with one mind. They are to stand as individuals in union with God's Spirit and united in striving with other believers laboring side by side. Those who will be steadfast in challenging moments maximize the resources of God's Spiritand the brotherhood of the saints.

They are not frightened by events and they accept suffering as part of their lives knowing full well, God's provision for salvation and the ultimate destruction of those who persecute them.

Beloved, to live a life worthy of the gospel entails standing firm in One Spirit and united in One mind with the saints. Leaders that will change the world know the place of God and God's people in enabling them stand for the gospel.
