Steemchurch: What God wants and what you want

in #steemchurch7 years ago

All of us prayed fervently for something that did not happen. We call for the healing of relatives who died. We pray for the restoration of marriages that ended in divorce. We pray for fertility and the uteruses did not bear fruit. If the will of God is good, pleasant and perfect, why do these things happen?

unquestionably because the thoughts of God are not ours, his knowledge and wisdom surpass us. God is the father of lights, the creator of the universe, the omnipotent, the sovereign, the only and wise. The work with love, kindness and perfection although we can not understand.
James, the brother of Jesus, affirms that we ask and we do not receive because we do not ask according to the will of God but in order to satisfy our passions (James 4: 3). Most of the time we confuse the yearnings of our capricious heart with faith and, when we do not give what we want, we blame God for something that had been our desire, but not his will.
The events that seem terrible to us and we wish we had not lived are those that bring us closer to the cross, to the death and resurrection of our Lord and Savior. If Christ had not suffered the Calvary of the Cross we would be destined to the death penalty. There would be no hope of resurrection or eternal life. This is the proof of your unlimited love for us. Never doubt the love of Jesus, even in the most painful situations, where you pray without ceasing and end up not answering

The Lord has the last word on everything, for that reason he must always agree to his will.
The apostle John, after walking three years with Jesus and hearing him say: "He who has seen me, has seen the father" (John 14: 9) elaborated the most exact definition of God: "God is love" (1 John 4: 8). It is not that Dis has love, but that God is love. When we ask something and he says "no", he does it out of love; When he says "yes", he does it out of love, and when he says "wait, it's not time yet", he does it out of love. He is the alpha and the omega, the beginning and the end (Revelation 1: 8). God knows the before and after all things, knows what will happen and what is best for us. When he refuses to fulfill something, it is because he does not agree with his purposes, but in the end, we have the promise that "those who love God, all things help them well, that is, those who agree their purposes are called "(Romans 8:28).
