Understanding the Holy Spirit
Understanding the Holy Spirit can just originate from divine brightening, a disclosure by the light of His Word. Indeed, even the Church has attempted to educate the unmistakable reality of the trinity, and the Holy Spirit, as of late. A comprehension of the trinity, and the expression "soul", will develop your downplaying of the Holy Spirit.
The best delineation of the puzzle of the trinity is man-made as soul, soul, and body, yet one being. So is the Godhead, one God, in three Persons-Father, Word, and Spirit. God, who is a soul, (John 4:24) also has a Spirit! Notice how the scripture above contrasts the soul of man and the Spirit of God.
When speaking of living things, "soul" is characterized as "the invigorating power of a person or deity"(1). The soul inside you quickens the life of your soul, and your body. It applies its impact over the soul and body as a power, but it is such a great deal more. It is the genuine being, the person. Man is extremely a soul, living in a body, through the soul. The soul is the genuine man.
This is the thought the Church has as of late battled with most: The Holy Spirit sometimes works in our lives as a power, but He isn't a power. He is a Person, with a psyche, will, and even emotions! He is God Almighty Himself.
Would you be able to picture the Holy Spirit as a living Being, a Person? That implies He talks and tunes in! He needs to relate with you as a Person. The Holy Spirit is God Himself, living and walking in you.
Begin talking with the Holy Spirit today as you would converse with Jesus if He was physically here with you!
