"It's not about the talents of some, but the sacrifices of many"

Dear Community of the SteemChurch

A popular phrase says:

"It's not about the talents of some, but the sacrifices of many"

Some time ago I heard that phrase from an influential leader, from one of the biggest churches in the world today.

He explained that the history of that church, although apparently marked by some very talented people, was built by the sacrifice of many people, mostly anonymous.

These days I have thought about what leads a team to reach high places, about to be publicly recognized. It is clear that talented people attract attention, and it is good that their talent is recognized, cultivated and improved. All this can bring glory to our Lord Jesus Christ, and as a body, we must honor the talent that God placed in each one's life.

But a ministry is not sustained only with talent. During my walk I met some ministries that had the talent of some, and were rare occasions when that talent managed to promote something solid beyond the initial "admiration" and a subsequent disinterest.

Many of these "ministries" were undone after some time, because of differences between the team, because the "talented" person did not want to continue, or even because they did not persevere until the right time was reached.

What even supports a ministry is unity. When we think about the day to day of a ministry of any kind, it is clear that problems occur and need to be resolved. But when they appear and there is unity, they are resolved because there is a greater purpose guiding that group.

What even sustains a ministry is submission to authority. In my opinion, as a close observer in the leadership of some relatives, the attitude of the heart of the workers is more important than the talent.

When you have a heart but you do not have the ability, we can work and strive to improve. But when you have talent and you do not have a heart, things can easily go downhill. Following any directive instruction even when that is not what you would do or the way you wanted is what makes a ministry succeed.

Even in the world system, talent can bring visibility, but it is not in itself synonymous with success. We can, for example, perceive the number of winners of musical reality shows that are forgotten shortly after the program ends.

Even more in the Kingdom of God, where the Lord sees the heart of man, that does not go unnoticed. When the attitude of the heart is correct, there is an open way to receive the promotion of God in his ministry.

There are people with many talents to lead, but they want to cover everything without giving room to others, in the end they are left alone, tired and frustrated.

We must recognize, and prestige, the talent that God gave to each one, but our main focus is to cultivate and appreciate a teachable heart, pure and willing to work as a team and with dignity, because that is what leads us to achieve the true success in community!

Amazing thoughts you shared our dear CEO.
If the growth of Christianity was to be based on One, Christ wouldn't have died, neither would He had raised disciples. Rather, as Isaiah 53 says, God sacrificed Him (Christ) that He (God) may gain many other children. The essence and growth of ministry utterly depends on how we are conscious and dedicated to transfer the life and values to others so we can make a Great Army for the Lord.

Humanity has not been made for independence, but for interdependence. Therefore, the importance of teamwork and the recognition of each other.

Differences should not cause envy or competition. Satan will do everything not to walk in unity. That is why we must expose and live interdependence.

"Striving to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace" Ephesians 4: 3

Well said sister!

Teamwork is the best way to act. excellent publication EC

Motivating words @emiliocabrera to recognize the talent of others and promote them, greetings

Hi brother, I will take this teaching as an initial fee for the next biblical studies that we will carry out with God's favor. It is very thoughtful the details you describe, I always say that if the reasons behind the actions are not correct, people should stop and reflect. Shalom

Thanks Jose, do not worry, we'll meet soon.

Those of us who have the opportunity to work in groups know how important it is to recognize each person's talent, to know what each one stands out for, so everyone can contribute their grain of sand and that the activity reaches a happy ending....

Certainly Woman

Amen @marciabon, thanks you for comment

Blessings brother, the system would not let me publish ... hehe ..

Very comforting teaching, an educational approach, talent is important but when there is a will and a heart we can combine to compensate for deficiencies and achieve great successes.

With the passing of the days you will have enough mana to publish. Thanks Brother

We can only go faster, but together, we go further. The talent of a person wins a match, but the work of a team wins the championship.

"Oh, how good and how delicious it is to inhabit the brothers that together in harmony." Psalm 133: 1

The blessing is ordered where there is unity. When we are in unity, we open the door for divine interventions. If we unite, we will reach high places.

Good contribution dear L

We must persevere in unity. We need to learn to celebrate differences!
