The pain of God's work

LINK
There are times when God's work is not pure pleasure in us, there are situations in which God's work produces a certain pain in our lives whose result is simply glorious.
For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brothers. 30 And those whom He predestined, these He also called; and those whom He called, these He also justified; and those whom He justified, these He also glorified.
What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
Romans 8:29-31
It is tempting and perhaps even valid to think at times that we are worthless and that we do not need to improve. Although there are people who do admit that they need to improve in some aspects, they still admit the following: "I am still a good person." We must know what the Bible says about us and about God's vision of us. God is not satisfied here with "let us be good", and let us also remember that the very word of God declares that because of the sin that dwells in us there is nothing good in us, which is why God prepared everything to give us something much better.
The interesting thing here is that God does not see us as simple creatures immersed in sin, God sees us through Christ, He sees us victorious, He sees us full and that is why we have all the tools at our disposal to live a full life in Christ, in the image of the Son of God.
49 And just as we have borne the image of the earthly, we will also bear the image of the heavenly.
1 Corinthians 15:49
