The exciting path of faith

Living the path of faith leads to exciting blessings unimaginable from God.
The Lord God gave me the tongue of the learned, that I might know how to speak words to the weary; He will awaken morning by morning, He will awaken my ear that I may hear as the wise. 5 The Lord God opened my ear, and I was not rebellious, nor did I turn back. 6 I gave my back to those who struck me, and my cheeks to those who plucked out my beard; I did not hide my face from insults and spitting.
7 For the Lord God will help me, therefore I was not ashamed; therefore I set my face like a flint, and I know that I will not be ashamed. 8 He who saves me is near me; who will contend with me? Let us gather together. Who is the adversary of my cause? Let him come near to me. 9 Behold, the Lord God will help me; who is there that condemns me? Behold, they will all wear out like a garment, they will be eaten by moths.
10 Who is there among you that fears the Lord, that hearkens to the voice of his servant? He that walks in darkness, and has no light, let him trust in the name of the Lord, and let him rely on his God.
Isaiah 50:4-10
Obedience is a very broad topic, sometimes it is just a way to avoid the consequences of disobedience, all the negative things that this implies, in this way this becomes a very heavy burden to bear. God's desire is that we live a full life, that it is a constant adventure and that obedience is a result of love and the daily discovery of his person.
For some people "Obeying" can represent a heavy burden to bear. We must be fully aware that God does NOT put a greater burden on us than we can bear. Let us always remember that by being faithful in the little things, in the smallest things we are preparing for the greater things. This implies obedience in the simple things. This is also part of our love and devotion.
It is important to completely trust in God and in his omnipotence, that we act according to his will and not according to our desires. In this way it becomes exciting and we should not fear it.
21 But the people took sheep and cattle, the first fruits of the accursed thing, to offer sacrifices to the Lord your God at Gilgal. 22 And Samuel said, Does the Lord take as much pleasure in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the Lord? Surely to obey is better than sacrifice, and to heed is better than the fat of rams.
1 Samuel 15:21-22
Let us remember that God always promises us protection and security in Him, God is always at our side in the midst of every challenge, God is very clear about the future even when it is uncertain for us, our job is to trust.
5 Let your conduct be free from covetousness, and be content with such things as you have; for He has said, I will never leave you nor forsake you;
Hebrews 13:5
