Stay still? There are times when it's necessary.

Mighty God, sovereign God, God over all circumstances and situations, and in each of the difficulties we are going through, God uses them for a good and merciful purpose and in our favor.
Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial that is trying you, as though something strange were happening to you, 13 but rejoice in that you share Christ's sufferings, so that when his glory is revealed you may also be glad and exceedingly joyful.
1 Peter 4:12-13
Throughout God's word, we see that God also instructs us to be still during the most difficult times of our lives, in those moments of difficulty. But the big question is, how do we do this?
First, we must understand that God gives rise to difficulties and problems. He allows us to once again go through those valleys of the shadow of death, but He is in control and protects us at all times. It is also important that behind these trials there are very important reasons that God uses for our benefit, only for our good, even when life seems all turmoil and there seems to be no hope. God does not allow us to face difficulties without good reasons.
We must remember that in every situation, whatever it may be, there is a purpose for our good on God's part. These situations have the potential to be totally in our favor in the future, as they contribute to our spiritual growth and development, for our blessing and that of those around us. This does not mean that everything is perfect, much less if we measure it according to our standards, according to our plans, or the hope we place in everything. But we must know that if we align ourselves with God's purposes, each of these experiences is for our growth and the development of our faith.
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
Romans 8:28
