Let us know more about God.

We have the opportunity to get closer to God every day through His Word.
12 Therefore I will not fail to remind you of these things, even though you know them and are established in the present truth. 13 For I consider it right, as long as I am in this body, to stir you up by warning, 14 knowing that I must soon leave the body, as our Lord Jesus Christ made known to me. 15 I will also be diligent to ensure that after my departure you may always be able to remember these things. 16 For we did not follow cleverly devised fables when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we were eyewitnesses of His majesty. 17 For when He received honor and glory from God the Father, a voice from the great glory said, "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased." 18 And we heard this voice sent from heaven when we were with him on the holy mountain. 19 We also have the prophetic word made more sure, to which you do well to pay attention as to a light shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts; 20 knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation, 21 for no prophecy ever came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.
2 Peter 1:12-21
Throughout the world there is a wide range of beliefs about who the Lord is, this happens even within the church. It is vitally important that believers recognize that the truth we find in the word of God is ineffable, has no error and above all reveals who God is exactly, the word of God reveals to us everything we need to understand about who our God is.
17 Sanctify them by your truth; your word is truth.
John 17:17
If we delve into the word of God we understand that it is a firm doctrine, even so all the ideas of the Lord are subjective. But we must understand that the Bible is a compilation of God's thoughts that inspired men to write guided by the Holy Spirit of God.
20 understanding this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of private interpretation,
