Learning to accept the best.

We often have to unlearn what we only want and accept what God wants for us, living by faith consciously and not by the fluctuating feelings that may arise at certain times.
Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in me. 2 In my Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you; I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to myself, that where I am, there you may be also. 4 And you know where I am going, and you know the way. 5 Thomas said to him, Lord, we do not know where you are going; how then can we know the way? 6 Jesus said to him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
John 14:1-6
We tend to do what is not right, that is, we let our circumstances determine in some way our attitude towards life situations. This means that if everything is going well in our life then we feel that everything is fine, we feel good. But when some difficulty arises or things get difficult, we have another type of feeling, our spirit is down, and this is not the way of living that God wants for us, we can take the example of the apostle Paul and learn to live with continuous contentment regardless of the circumstances.
Contentment can be defined as the way of being calm, quiet, serene, no matter what situation things are around us, this means that we learn that God works in our weakness so that we can accept the promises and circumstances, adapting to the events. When we learn all this, we go from depending on the feelings that spontaneously present themselves to living by faith, consciously in the promises of God.
(because we walk by faith, not by sight);
