In need, let us be givers.

Even if it makes no sense for others to follow God's example as generous givers, let us not give up.
Likewise, brothers, we make known to you the grace of God that has been given to the churches of Macedonia: 2 that in the midst of great affliction the abundance of their joy and their deep poverty overflowed to the riches of their generosity. 3 For I bear witness that they were glad to give according to their ability, and even beyond their ability, 4 with much entreaty that we might grant them the privilege of sharing in this ministry for the saints. 5 And not as we had hoped, but they gave themselves first to the Lord, and then to us by the will of God;
2 Corinthians 8:1-5
Each of us went through elementary school and learned arithmetic operations and one of them was subtraction, you have a number and you take away, then you have much less, that's how the laws of mathematics are, but we have the laws of God that are totally opposite in this sense.
God tells us that when we are generous as when we give more, when we give more, we will receive more instead of keeping less, to the one who has more and the one who gives more receives more, as we see in the following text.
38 Give, and it will be given to you; good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will be put into your lap. For with the same measure you use, it will be measured back to you.
Luke 6:38
God's plan is always a blessing for us and He wants us to depend on the vision He has for us, not on the logic we may have. In this sense, if we depend on our logic, we would see how much we have in our account to see from there how much we can give. But the Bible teaches us that all riches belong to God and everything we give to God is part of what we received from His hand.
When we follow God's guidelines, above all, by proceeding with faith and confidence in the care He has for us. Although God does not always provide according to our desires or the way we expect, we can always trust and be absolutely sure that He will supply all our needs and will always bless our lives in the best way.
14 Behold, the heaven and the heaven of heavens belong to the Lord your God, the earth, and all the things that are in it.
Deuteronomy 10:14
He knows absolutely everything about us, He knows our feelings, our way of thinking, our intentions, and He does not escape our finances either, He knows absolutely everything about us and will provide for our good always, even when times become difficult. Let us remember the church of Macedonia that gave us an example of being generous in giving even when times are not the best and when trials are presented, they still did it with great joy.
2 that in the great trial of affliction, the abundance of their joy and their deep poverty abounded in the riches of their generosity.
2 Corinthians 8:2
