How to have the right convictions?

It is key to study the word of God, so this transforms our thinking and strengthens our beliefs based on the word of God.
5 Thus says the Lord: Cursed is the man who trusts in man, and makes flesh his arm, and whose heart departs from the Lord. 6 He will be like the broom in the wilderness, and will not see when good comes, but will dwell in the dry places in the desert, in a waste and uninhabited land.
7 Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, and whose trust is the Lord. 8 For he will be like a tree planted by the waters, which sends out its roots by the stream, and will not see when heat comes, but its leaf will be green; and it will not be weary in the year of drought, nor fail to bear fruit.
Jeremiah 17:5-8
A small seed that is almost insignificant or that goes unnoticed, with the addition of nutrients and the passage of time can grow into a large, strong and desirable oak tree. This is also the case with believers who begin the study of the word of God, they begin to work on their convictions through the study of the word, becoming strong people who are faithfully rooted in biblical convictions.
Some questions can guide us to know what our convictions are as we stand before all this, such as: Do I consider the Bible to be the word of God and is it 100% reliable? Can I only be saved and inherit life by accepting only Jesus Christ as the only and sufficient Savior? What is the role of the Holy Spirit of God in the lives of the children of God?
These are some of the many questions we can ask ourselves to explore how we are with respect to the convictions of the biblical foundations that form us as believers and that can give us total security and firmness in the word of God to live a full life.
Let us always ask this question about biblical truths: What does God say about this topic? This question, instead of asking ourselves, What does this mean? We can use a guide of biblical concordances to review and explore certain topics. And so in each truth that we discover, God will be working in our favor, He will speak to us what we need to learn and thus we will be much more firm in believing in the word of God.
Let us make the Bible key in the transformation of our thoughts, that every day we have much more certainty of what the Lord would say in a certain situation, let us learn day by day to believe and commit ourselves to live according to the word of God and that the word of God be our conviction.
3 to give to those who mourn in Zion, to give them glory instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, a mantle of praise instead of a spirit of anguish; and they shall be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, for his glory.
Isaiah 61:3
