Feelings of guilt and victory over them.

The time comes when we are willing to face guilt, these are the times when Our Lord Jesus replaces that burden, that shame, simply with peace and joy.

This is the message we have heard from him and announce to you: God is light, and in him there is no darkness at all. 6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not practice the truth. 7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanses us from all sin. 8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

1 John 1:5-9

Guilt produces bondage, that is: Maintaining that weight of guilt, for some people it is because they live in sin, while others bear the shame that is foreign to them, it does not belong to them, whatever the reason we must be very clear that we can have victory over that guilt.

2 looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Hebrews 12:2

The beginning of victory begins by understanding that shame has been nailed to the cross through the death of Our Lord Jesus Christ, without this great act there would be no victory, no account would remain pending since humanly it is impossible for us to do something to pay for the guilt of sin. Our responsibility is to identify the origin of that feeling of guilt and present ourselves before God. With this act we agree with God's judgment, we recognize our faults, we repent of sin and we turn away to continue on the path.
In this way we tear down the feeling of guilt that feeds the weight of shame on us, obscuring peace and joy. These situations allow us experiences that we can share with other brothers, we obtain peace and wisdom, admitting our mistakes and turning away from them is not only important to free ourselves from the feeling of shame, this is a testimony to those around us and in this way we help them to be free from the guilt of sin.
The guilt of sin should not stop us, it cannot delay us on the path, we must take action, repent and move forward on the path. I urge you to take the reins of your life right now knowing that God helps us in everything! Start walking in fullness today!
