Understanding Breakthrough:Pharez Before Zarah

And it came to pass in the time of her travail that, behold, twins were in her womb. And it came to pass, when she travailed, that the one put out his hand: and the midwife took and bound upon his hand a scarlet thread, saying, This came out first. And it came to pass, as he drew back his hand that, behold, his brother came out: and she said, How hast thou broken forth? This breach be upon thee: therefore his name was called Pharez. And afterward came out his brother that had the scarlet thread upon his hand: and his name was called Zarah. Genesis 38:27-30

We all need a breakthrough in many areas of our lives where there are challenges and obstacles. Our daily problems arouses out of how to overcome difficult obstacles and problems in life.

No matter the hindrances and the challenges you will be facing you will surely break through and come out alive in Jesus name. You will surely penetrate the defense of anything that opposes you in Jesus name.

The bible gives account of two boys who had struggles in their mothers womb. Zarah, the one who came out with his hand first later came last.

The midwife named him to be the first to come out when he had not actually been out, just the putting out of his hand.

But his brother Perez overlooked these circumstances and the forced his way through. No matter the circumstance that is hindering you, you will surely break through in Jesus name.

Though you have been named to be the last you will surely breakthrough to be first. Nothing can stop you from where you want to go for as far as you can see you can have in Jesus name.

Zarah had a brought forth his hand first and also had midwives who stood for him but God determined the one who won for the horses are made ready for battle but victory comes from the Lord.

In the name of Jesus I see you breaking through in your finances, in your business, in your marriage, in your education...

There are few things you must know before your break through comes:

Breakthrough is not a matter of being first:

Life is not always about being first. It is God that determines everything that happens to us by His mercies and grace. This is the reason we must rely on Him for His perfect direction. Sarah came out first with his hand but Pharez received overtook him and came out.

For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy. Romans 9:15-16

Understand that breakthrough does not depend on human's decision and help but God

God is not just our helper but our help. He uses the hand, the legs, the ears and eyes of men when He wants to reach out to us but that does not make man our ultimate help. It is not about the decisions of man that determines what you become in life but God.

Listen to how David prayed:

If it had not been the LORD who was on our side," Let Israel now say- "If it had not been the LORD who was on our side, when men rose up against us, Then they would have swallowed us alive, when their wrath was kindled against us; Then the waters would have overwhelmed us, the stream would have gone over our soul;Then the swollen waters would have gone over our soul. Blessed be the LORD, Who has not given us as prey to their teeth. Our soul has escaped as a bird from the snare of the fowlers; The snare is broken, and we have escaped. Our help is in the name of the LORD, Who made heaven and earth. Psalm 124:1-8

Breakthrough is a matter God's power

It is the power of God that gives you the strength and the speed to break through and to overtake:

God tells Zerubbabel:

This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel: 'Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,' says the LORD of hosts. Who are you, O Great Mountain? Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain! And he shall bring forth the capstone with shouts of "Grace, grace to it!" Zachariah 4:6-7

You will surely breakthrough in Jesus name!
