Steem Basic Income - Enhanced Votes Graph
Steem Basic Income
Steem Basic Income is a social experiment to bring a basic income to as many Steemians as possible. Members join by sponsoring others into the program. Steem Basic Income is delivered through providing regular upvotes to member content.
Enhanced Support Graph
We first published this graph that 'maps' the interrelationships in our member pool a few months ago. Here is our graph and analysis from last time we published it:

And here is the graph from this week:
(img source http://www.steemreports.com/votes-graph-enhanced/?accounts=steembasicincome)
It only shows people that regularly upvote each other or @steembasicincome, but with multiple shares for bigger upvotes. That makes sense, because we have over 3000 active members across eight pools. All of those interrelationships would be too much for this chart.
There continue to be a lot of interrelationships in our cluster this time, which we believe is a healthy development. I'd like to think that the opportunity to talk to each other in our discord channel contributes to that, along with the amazing contests that so many of our top members enjoy hosting!
@ntowl has been contributing to help us meet our regular update schedule. Let's take a look at her voting graph.
We can see how interwoven her network is with @steembasicincome, along with a few highly connected users that aren't part of @steembasicincome. To me that always indicates potentially interesting accounts that I should check out and consider following from my personal account!

Delegation Bonus Shares
Existing members can receive bonus shares by delegation. For every 10 SP delegated to @steembasicincome, members will receive 1 bonus share. Any Steemian that is enrolled in @steembasicincome can delegate as much as they would like, to receive bonus shares.
Here are some Handy Delegation links:
20 | 100 | 200 | 300 | 400 | 500 |
Enrollment
If you want to get involved, or to increase the share of basic income that you receive, enrollment is pretty straightforward:
Just send 1 STEEM to @steembasicincome. Include the name of a Steemian to sponsor in the transaction memo (preceded by @). You and the person you sponsor will each receive 1 share in the program. You can sponsor any active Steemian, it does not have to be a current member.
If you're unclear, please check out our full transaction memo guidelines and then let us know if you have any questions.

The official currency for enrollment is STEEM. We are not currently accepting SBD for enrollments. Please allow 6-7 days for enrollments to be processed.
Questions?
Most questions are addressed in our FAQ or in the additional resources that it suggests. To review your share counts, we recently released a new member lookup tool. If you still have questions, ask in the comments section or join us in our discord channel.
I'm confused.... always seeing people wishing they're on the list, asking to be given shares etc... Can anyone not simply enroll themselves(along with nominating someone else) for 1 Steem? Am I missing something? I can understand that some people may not have 1 Steem to spend but I always feel like I'm missing something here...
You're entirely correct.
Thanks for the clarification... I knew I was making it more complicated than it was!
a very useful project, hopefully more successful
whether a member can sponsor more than one person?
You can sponsor as many as you would like. It's 1 STEEM each time, and sponsoring others also increases your reward.
That sure is a tight knit group in those photos. Great to see this update. Thanks SBI. 👏
How do i get my self up there also?
I saw you....

Currently the average number of shares held by members of pool one is 29, but having 29 shares does not guarantee being added to pool 1.
I hope some day to be in the list :D
I saw you, too:

ohhh thanks for the information!!! :D
Interesting to see another of my favourite initiatives in @dustsweeper bobbing up in that second graph of @ntowl interactions.
I think @dustsweeper does good work. I should look into enrolling all the SBI accounts so it starts showing a little more often in these graphs. They deserve the attention.
You could do worse than to do it that's for sure. Every little bit of reward build that SP and strengthens SBI for the long run.
@steembasicincome, I have a question:
Are there now 125 shares max in each sbi pool? I’ve seen this number on the SBI-sheets in your google-doc. On the other hand on the ‘Summary Sheet’ its written ‘Max shares (100 per pool...’.
I just had a look there because I ‘missed’ the upvote of one pool (had been sbi5 before) for my post today. But if there are 125 shares max in each pool everything is fine.
We adjusted from max of 500 members at 100 shares in each pool to 400 members at 125 shares in each pool. The total cap for a pool is the same, but it makes it a little easier to manage voting power appropriately.
There may be some additional changes to how pools are managed when we roll out our automated system, so watch for those announcements in the next couple of months (hopefully!).
thank you - and good luck and success 😅
I see myself there. Pretty great feeling. Nice to see some people I recognize as well up there.
Shapes up to be pretty good list. I've started to rethink the suggestions about a curation trail. If I do, it would be only on the main pool, to add additional support to the people really driving things forward with their awesome contests, etc.
That's a good post-automation project, though. Priorities.
