A friend of mine.
I was in class sometime ago listen to one of my lecturers giving a speech about the life in Nigeria. That moment I was asking myself, why am I in school ? a question I couldn’t reply myself until this moment. Schools were designed by the whites to help us read and write their language, and the government of my great country Nigeria, understands that better. They will always say , get a degree, which is a paper and not get yourself acquainted with a skill because the western world don’t do much of books like we do in Nigeria. Let’s come to think about it, what value has school done to us as a country rather than communication. The previous xenophobic attack on innocent Nigerians is because the system says “get a degree before anything” . When we all know that it is not what you study that you get to work for or who gets a better result knows it all. We live in a country that the practical aspect is what we need the most and not the ink in papers. Notwithstanding, thumbs-up to the whites,we need it for a proper communication. But,of what use is it to communicate an idea without putting it into practice. I know most of you will be thinking am out of the point. You might be right, because you all believe there should be a benchmark for hierarchy or measurement. No doubts. But what if the standards are place more on practical and what an individual has to offer and not the presentation of dancing ink in papers which we all know could be manipulated.
Personally, I think the schools system should be place on the same ground, thereby giving all and sundry an equal opportunity to bring out the potentials in them, and with that Nigeria will definitely become a better place. If we need to stop the apartheid in Africa, South Africa to be precise, we must start with ourselves. Thank you.

Partially on point bro, education is actually the bed rock of every society, our set back is just technology which aids practicality, which the white has more advantage than the third world, besides our government, but our fate is in our hands to decide how to get to the top, our govt are not to decide for us. Please permit my boldness.

Though the reply is coming late but u are welcomed. And every has de right to voice out .
