I relate with you and understand your 2year vesting period idea as it would have increased price for sure.
I also agree that in my opinion Ned did a poor job on managing the momentum we had and the developments of Steem.
Nevertheless, thanks to the community we are now rolling, I feel the new team is great and Steemians are bringing value to the platform (@steemmonsters, @drugwars, @partiko, @steemengine or @busy just to name a few great projects).

It wasn't my idea, that's just how Steemit was set up in the beginning, and yes it did do wonders for the price.
Agreed, I'm particularly interested to see where the games go, I think they could be the future of the Steem blockchain.
