RE: Exaggerated Self Importance: STEEM Does NOT Need You!!!

in #steem7 years ago

That's something I don't understand. When the Steem rises and everyone is winning, then people complain that the whales bought when it was cheap, that they had facilities, etc., etc. But then it goes down again and the ones who were crying now leave and say it's very difficult.

The same goes for the whole market, when the BTC is rising all want to put their money and become millionaires, which will not happen, but then when the price goes down and there are real chances of multiplying the money buying the dip, they don't want to invest because it is very risky.

Honestly I cannot understand that mentality. I'm sure that when everything goes uphill again many will come complaining about that it was very easy to produce and increase the SP at this time.

Sort:

That is a very valid point...one I alluded to often.

There are many who complain that the Whales had the opportunity to buy in at 8 cents or 10 cents.

I ask how many of those people would have bought when STEEM went fro m $4 to 10 cents? How many of these same people are buying today under $2.

None, and none will do it because they are afraid, and that is the main problem, they want to earn money, a lot of money in addition, but without taking any risk.

Yeah I recall a post by @stackin.

STEEM got down to 75 cents...I was still buying it at about .85 as was he...he alluded to exactly the same thing...how many of you are complaining yet not taking advantage of STEEM at these prices? His point was valid.

Of course, it ran from there to the ATH and now is on sale again. How many are buying?

It is not even that they are not buying, it is that they are almost abandoning the platform because it does not give them enough profits, when it is just right when the Steem & SP is easier to increase.

Well, all we can do is wait and try to grow now that it's easier, and then when they come back whining...
