I think you are right. We are already starting to see rumblings that they want to take the cuffs off the banksters which means a repeat of what we saw before. When the house of cards does collapse, it will be a lot more difficult to get any bailouts since, as you noted, there will be an alternative system.
Hell the collapse might take some countries with it. Do not overlook the fact that blockchain is a threat to governments also.
A very real possibility, particularly in Europe.
And I’m always amazed that Japan has not yet fallen off a cliff, given their massive debt to GDP ratio that makes America and Europe look healthy. They’re maybe a special case with more social cohesion than most countries, but still.
