So what is the deal with these new Smart Media Tokens on the Steem blockchain?

What are they going to be used for and will there be an ICO?

Just looking for information!

    I don't think an ICO will be required....
    From the way I am reading it anyone with a Steem Power minimum(unknown amount to me at this time), will have a way to generate a Token set.
