-Community Proposal- For NSFW Posts

Community Solution for NSFW posts - Take ACTION

This is simply a proposed community solution to NSFW posts. I apologize if this topic has been made before.

I understand devs are in the process of solving the issue, but there is no reason we can't have an agreed upon fix in the meantime.

Many people browse steem at work, or in situations where it would be best not to have thumbnails of titties exposed in the threads. This will not guarantee this is a safe place for everyone to browse but if we, as a community, agree to a simple self awareness for the sake of everyone as a whole I feel we can at least show that we do not simply wait for others to solve the issues for us.

The proposal:
Any NSFW thread has something as simple as a warning image, or even a paint image that has the topic of the images, or an agreed upon image that represents the thread will have NSFW images within it.

Such as this post's image.

Now this is only an example as, frankly, even this could be considered NSFW for some more draconian environments.
I leave it up to the community to decide what would work best.

This, again, won't guarantee the issue solved, but we can at least make an attempt and the more people onboard the more effective it will be.

Benefits:

1. People don't have to worry quite so much about what might show up in the threads
2. You can begin to get trending images. People who commonly use an image or style of image as their teaser picture will begin to get their own following.
3. This could also develop into a general "this is a guide for the topic of the post" image trend rather than POST SOME TITTIES TO GET ATTENTION BRO. People will develop their own style of images to go along with posts which can lead to more easily identifying members who have popular threads as well.
4. We all seem a little bit more mature and considerate of other people who may not quite have the freedom to browse however they wish.
5. Probably even more benefits, but I wanted to get this out there quickly rather than worrying about just how thorough the post is, as I think the idea is simple enough.

Cons:

1. You can't get a helping of booties and more just from scrolling through
2. It can be a little bit of a bother finding an image instead of just posting everything you want to
3. The topic list would easily be ran over by a NSFW troll if they so desired
4. Someone could totally post NSFW spoiler, and suggest there's something you want to see, and lemonparty everyone. But that's still better than lemonparty being in the thread list, so I think this one is a win too.

I also believe there is no need for this trend to disappear once NSFW-related filters are actually put in place, as there are many benefits besides simply disguising the contents of the post before clicking on it

And here is where I would put some boobies for your time, but I think that isn't in the nature of this particular post.
