Deep Learning and Python. Massive Resource Base. Avoid Information Paralysis.
A list of books to get you on your way to knowing Deep Learning and Python. It's more like my personal compilation of recipes for success. And it's a clear demonstration of procrastination and information paralysis. Ever heard of that last one? It's when you spend too much time looking into something, gaining all of the knowledge you can in the smallest amount of time, but failing to recognise you may already have all of the information you need.
This paralysis, or slow movement to my goal of learning python and starting on my coding for deep learning is a cliff I fall off over and over again. Knowing what you need to know is important. Knowing where the information is kept is just as significant. But getting stuck in that phase is easy to get into, and hard to come out. Hours if not days can go by without actually getting your arse in gear.
So here it is plane and simple. I'm sharing this with you because it helps me reflect on one of my greater weaknesses: procrastination; and it helps me share the knowledge. I enjoy the later more than the former.
THE BOOK LIST for Learning Python, Machine Learning and Deep Learning.
Fluent Python by Luciano Ramalho
Think PythonHow to Think Like a Computer Scientist by Allen Downey
Python Data Science Handbook by Jake VanderPlas
Python for Data Analysis by Wes McKinney
Python Cookbook by David Beazley and Brian K. Jones
Python Crash Course: a hands-on, Project-Based Introduction to Programming by Eric Matthes
Machine Learning with Python Cookbook Practical Solutions from Preprocessing to Deep Learning by Chris Albon
There's no one book with all the info. I managed to find small sections in each. Once you have them, a Google search for the titles in pdf will get you versions you can take anywhere. #GoPaperles.
