Steem + Gambling = Killer App [100% SP]
Let's face it, gambling is the biggest crypto-industry, and if Steem can get a % of it, we could go mainstream! The first person who creates a working STEEM based casino will probably get rich, and help STEEM go mainstream as well.
I have been critical of gambling in the past, and yes I don't recommend it as a "get rich quick scheme", however it still works as an entertainment. Millions of people gamble around the world, just for fun, so why can't STEEM profit from this?
Bitcoin's price and value is largely based on the gambling volume it generates from various giant casinos like: SatoshiDice, PrimeDice, FortuneJack, and others... Not to mention the betting websites, where this 2016 election and the earlier Olympics was probably a big volume event.
Steem fails to capitalize on these huge opportunities, and if people just gamble for fun or entertainment, there is nothing wrong with it. We could see hundreds of millions in volume coming to STEEM if we make a gambling platform, perhaps integrate it into Steemit.
Imagine a social media platform, with social gambling, where people could chat, have fun and gamble at the same time, creating additional demand for the STEEM currency, and help lower the inflation.
It could be a killer idea, both for STEEM and for the first entrepreneur who makes this idea into a reality!
