RE: It's Hard to Earn Steem - Excellent

in #steem7 years ago (edited)

It is not going to get easier, it is going to get even harder.

I think that a lot of people don’t realize that only about 65,000 Steem are created in a day and that only part of that ends up in the reward pool. That is going up only by 9% per year at a time when the number of users is going up ballparkish 9% per month.

Steem could become much harder to earn.

If it will be harder to get, its value should get higher according to it, right?

I believe current problem is most people stick to conderser which is something similar to Wikipedia, people gotta dig to find what they are looking for (this needs to happen in 7 days frame) and main pages(popular/hot) are easily flooded with nonsense, there is no easy way to build a community at the moment.

All those other platforms are not helpful either. Actually, it's not even hard to earn Steem in the current situation, it's just hard to do it in your own way. You can join a group of greedy people and vote for each other with a little help of bid-bots and ta-da. You just get an upvote from those D-series platforms.

I don't think this is a healthy way to grow a decentrilized/free community in here...

I believe we just need long-term investors who believe in steem's potential and some solid developers.

If people value it and don't want to sell it, the price goes up! It is a good thing people are fighting over it.

Yeah, the idea that you just make a post and wait to earn. It is getting a lot of people frustrated. It is hard now and it is going to be harder.
