RE: @Steemit IS OFFICIALLY POWERING DOWN!! POWER THE FUCK DOWN! IT IS FINISHED!
I have found your posts informative. Having said that, I wanted to check some of the things you are presenting. Two things here for you to look at.
1- It appears Steemit is only (I use that term loosely) powering down 4,228,330.193 Steem at this time, that was initiated on June 1st.
2- Steemworld is no longer displaying the red banner for power downs.
While I do have my own assumptions as to the overall dynamics taking place here, many confirmed with your investigative reporting, I urge you to go that extra step and look into amounts and possible reasons that might include angles not so sinister. In this instance, while 4.2 million Steem is enough to make any of us pause, it is a large difference from 32 million. And will take them 13 weeks to get, so the market won't get flooded as bad (not that it's not getting flooded bad as it is with all the milking going on here).
I agree with many of the overall conclusions being bandied about by many here that cut through the cult like stance many seem to fall into. There is only so long one can attribute things to shortsightedness and incompetency. Especially with the monies involved (especially when Steem was valued in the dollars). However, as you have pointed out from your research, many of the things are acknowledged plainly in white papers and from day to day actions many of us watch.
I have shared your posts with those who have followed me, as I make my exit here.If they choose to feel concerned, they are armed with more knowledge to make informed decisions possibly. I will continue to read what you share, but my followers are aware of you and if interested are now following you. So will not be resteeming anymore now. The burden is on them as to their interest and level they find you credible.
I'm unsure what precipitated your campaign here. I do hope that whatever is driving you, you do not allow it to eat at your heart much longer. Life is to short, and at the end of the day they have the right to do with their property as they see fit. Buyer beware and all that jazz.
I have long said to those in my circles on the right who whine and complain about being de-platformed that despite all the talk about it, none of their leaders, nor they, build a platform that would offer what it is they complain about is lacking. Everyday people utilize the Fakebooks, Twitters, Youtubes etc, they agree and are bound to the owners whims. This goes for Steemit and the other Steem fronts bound by the largest stakeholders intent.
Despite losing my faith in this project, I have met many fine people here who have swallowed the Koolaid, and for their sake I wish for the success of this project despite what I see. Good people who have invested years of effort and sometimes their own money into, who want and need what they believe to be a foundation into something larger to succeed. It is my hope that those like myself, and you and the others who for whatever reason have lost faith are all wrong, and will one day regret our decision to power down and move on.
It is for those people who have contributed as best they knew how, and tried to build this up with little support from those they have entrusted at the top, I hope you soon get this out of your system. If it is all a house of cards about to collapse, it will not need any more prodding, and I am pretty sure people are familiar now with who you are, what you have presented. Maybe it will succeed despite the leadership, and for those good people who have put their effort in, I want it to succeed despite the shit tactics I see from the top players. Even if it means they make out even more so.
Good luck to you in your future endeavors. Maybe will comment on a future post, maybe not. I still have 9 weeks left, but has been a blessing to be honest not posting and commenting nightly for hours, despite what the length of this comment may suggest, lol.
