RE: I lost a lot of confidence in Steem/Steemit today but there's still hope..
I'm still trying to get the hang of all this (total newbie). But from what I gather based on your comment, this whole thing started as a small manageable community and the introduction post was kind of a initiation ritual then, right? Or is there something more to it. (I just started reading the whitepaper, not sure if it touches it.) I haven't written mine yet, in fact this is my first reply let alone a 'post'. I'm more focused on trying to understand the mechanics behind this 'experiment' I think before I make take the leap (introduction feels like a commitment for some weird reason)... As for defining 'interesting/boring', aren't those concepts are fundamentally subjective? Also why would a certain style be more encouraged than others? Isn't the whole point of curation by people is making the sharing more inclusive? I have so many questions haha, feel pretty late to the party. =)
