“A New Beginning”

in #steem7 years ago

This is the title I gave to a series of articles that I will post here, and which will have as a main objective to think about the world we live in today and how we can change the paradigm of our society in a fair way for the whole community.
I will begin this article with a quote from a seventeenth-century poet named George Herbert: "He that lives in hope dance without music." Now for many frustrated human lives hope is very important, but we must know what kind of music we are seeking: Is it the music of cryptocurrency speculation? or we prefer the cryptocurrency distribution and equity in the wealth generated by virtual currency gains rather than the first option ? I definitely prefer the second option.

Therefore, we have the responsibility as citizens, to do all our efforts in order to distribute the gains generated by some cryptocurrencies like this one (steem coin) or other digital platforms, the most equal as possible for all community. This is how we can initiate the path for a Fairer Society.

If all of us could have a dose of altruism we could achieve better and more equal results for the community.

And in this way the paradigm of the social contract will be changed, since we will no longer be dependent on the institutions, neither the State nor the banks, so that we can exercise our freedom and be able to act as conscious and rational human beings.
So we have to take advantage of this new modality of capitalism. Nowadays, we are facing capitalism on a new modality, that is, capitalism based on information and we have to use the “ICTs”: Information and communication technologies efficiently for the community.

And we must give this impulse, because what produces a change in society never comes from the political power, but rather from the community itself.

I will end this article with a statement saying that:
Based on the principle that there are about three thousand million users of the internet, imagine the potential that we have to change the social paradigm we live so that we can use the steemit community and cryptocurrencies for a fairer and more equitable world.

I agree. However, since sharing now means a real trade-off (thanks to blockchain technology), because tokens have "value-of-exchange" and can not be spent twice (in turn content can be shared without limit), rather than think about "sharing" we should think about "trading" or "voting", and we must do so judiciously. Good post though which deserved my significant vote (100%). This vote, once attributed, is no longer available to others. As for a "Like" in the FB, it can be shared generously... Different games!

Thanks, I realy appreciate your comment. Anyway, I think this is the beginning of the real autonomy of the society and our independence from the institutions. For me that is the most important issue.
