Those $ amounts on the Steem articles.. is that how much the poster is making or how much is shared between posters and voters?
Is there anywhere to see how much you've earned?

At the moment all payouts are 'pending' until July 4th. On July 4th accounts will receive their balances.
You can transfer funds from your account page if you have any liquid STEEM. Payouts are made in Steem Dollars which are always convertible to a dollars worth of Steem. You can take the Steem Dollars to a crypto currency exchange and sell them for other cryptocurrencies which can be sold for real dollars.
Over time the markets will evolve to simplify the process of converting from cryptocurrencies such as STEEM and Steem Dollars (SMD) to real dollars in your bank account.
It's simple. The more value you bring, the more you get. The definition of value might suprise you though.
