RE: Steem software is out of beta now?

in #steem7 years ago

That Steem client may always be in open beta...... Bitcoin is arguably in beta too :-) Maybe all blockchains are for that matter.

Sort:

Yeah, you're right... There's always room and opportunity for improvement ☺

Are we finally removing beta from the site?

Wow! First time I spotted a Ned on here.....too bad I'm all out of pokeballs.

a Boss move, lets go full velocity!

@ned - Neddie, finally found your active comment where I want it exactly. Doesn't beta means it's unstable release with no warranty on it ? Beta in Tech world for decades stands for - USE IT AT YOUR OWN RESPONSIBILITY. Are we safe ? :)

Btw, BitCoin is live in Japan already for massive use. Even Tax Law has been added, that all BitCoin payments and transactions will be taxable at 1.8% instead of regular 8%. So, Bitcoin is not arguably in beta too, but nice try :)

Maybe you have some comment on this ?

I would love to clear with you and myself finally are you a Hoax that represents Steem or you are really someone with so great knowledge as community upvoting you ?

Many thanks,

Digital Lucifer

P.S. I know you are too busy to answer all my concerns, but try from time to time to answer to a reasonable technical, economical, political concerns of your community... would be awesome, instead of complete ignorance except where you want to promote yourself. It would be great if I could ever interview you (even in far future) without previous setup or montage, to pull out and clear out some questions/facts missing (being cut off) from all your interviews until now :)

Thank you greatly for all you've done for all of us! We are forever appreciative. =D

Not everyone :)

I still see complaints every day. There are still some flaws that need to be fixed.

So it's going to stay?

exciting news

@ned FYI: My critical blockchain intel analysis and report on EOS's possible disruption of Steem and Bitcoin. The Steemit Inc 2017 Roadmap and Steem-Dev priorities may need to be rethought and reset to address what appears to be a real threat - unless you worked out something with Dan that is going to keep Steem's head above water?
