Poloniex: Things are improving a lot, now answer STEEM / SBS related tickets are a matter of hours
Is Poloniex back in business ?
I was about to bash Poloniex yesterday, but things are improving quickly regarding their customer service.
I am in the same situation as many here, I am waiting for my 5 days old deposit to be reflected on my balance and I would like to share with you my experience with their customer service today.
First I made a claim on their support system two days ago:
Then I got this answer within 24 hours:
It was not a satisfaction as the answer was bad but I not have to wait long to get an answer, this is the good point, look at my answer on the next screenshot... The good thing is that their answer was even more quick.
A few hours later I got an answer:
My though is that we slowly shift from the exit scam theory to a overwhelmed exchange that try their best to be responsive.

I was hoping they would work out these problems. Currently I have my assets split between Poloniex and Bittrex. As Poloniex continues to improve I will shift back to them. If Poloniex shows further signs of failing, then I'm ready to bail out. But I agree that giving them a fair chance is good.
Let's give them the benefit of the doubt...
I put a ticket in 19th June - still no reply
My transaction ID is 244668 so just another 35000 tickets to go before I get a response.
Make a complaint to BBB, Better business Bureau of Delaware
If I thought it would speed things up, I would. It's obvious that they simply don't have the manpower to deal with all the tickets at the moment, so I doubt that getting the BBB involved would make any difference.
So what made the difference for me ?
At a guess, maybe they are using FILO - First In Last Out. It could make sense. Rather than keep everybody waiting a long time, they might deal with the newest ones first - the ones who have already waited a long time are already angry anyway. This way they keep at least some of the customers happy.
Of course, there could be a completely different reason.
I'm going to ticket them again and see if that helps.
