Get out of denial. Face these circumstances squarely. To face what's not working in your life usually means you're going to have to do something uncomfortable. Demand respect instead of settling for an abusive relationship, or maybe even quit your job.

Denial can often be hid behind myths and widely accepted views. We don't often realise we are in denial, we use phrases such as these:
- It's just what guys do.
- It's none of my business.
- There's nothing I can do about it.
- I'll get fired if I say anything.
- I'm sure he is going to pay me back.
These are just ways of maintaining their ignorance. ' Doing more of what doesn't work won't make it work any better' (Charles J. Givens). Do you talk of how happy and fulfilled you are when you are not?

@luppers people are afraid to point out problems for fear that a discussion will start, or worse, that they blame the problem. to improve it is necessary that people feel safe and not be afraid to express their ideas, not be afraid to ask questions.

OMG ego is the enemy is one of my favorite Rayan Holiday books!
The Obstacle is the way instills one idea into your mind - whatever's in the way, is the way to go.
We face difficulties everyday, yet we cower and change course because "something or someone's" in the way.
It's not hard to take step back, observe the obstacle and maneuver past it.
The obstacle ahead of you is your compass.
I recommend taking a look at that book. It changed my perspective forever.

@luppers, Yes, ignorance makes our situations more worse. When we face uncomfortable situations we have to hold open and clear mind so that we can handle the situation effectively and we can overcome from the uncomfortable situations. Ignorance and denial aspects will not going to make our situations better. Stay blessed.
