Interesting, but complex

This is potentially one of the most interesting content distribution/control systems I've ever seen. However, what it isn't is easy to setup.
Taking out of the picture the signup requiring payment, or waiting 1-2 weeks, this is one of the most complicated systems I've ever seen. If this platform is ever to take off beyond the techies, nerds, geeks, and be used by mere muggles then a lot of work is to be done. A simple "Getting Started" guide would be amazing. Not simply a FAQ.
