There is also some downvote abuse I noticed. Bots (and also a few high rep users) flagging down minnows that start to get noticed and make some dollars on grounds of having copied parts of other articles without giving attribution. But then you see some of the whales copying entire articles without mentioning the source and making hundreds of dollars from it and nobody says a word about it.
For me, there is a lot of abuse going on in the voting system, and it's what scares people away from participating more on Steem.
Maybe it should be better if there were no bots at all and people would start voting freely whatever they liked and felt useful. I think that was the spirit of the voting platform in the beginning, wasn't it?
