RE: MY STEEM UPVOTES I GIVE REMOVE FAIRLY LARGE SUMS OF MONEY??

in #steem6 years ago

I can totally understand "my" late vote effecting "my votes value" but why should my "up"vote, take from that mans rewards? Why should my money/power/VP/SP/Vests however it is described.. effect what he has already earned from others and in such a negative way?

In addition aside from this whole topic. The platform favors bots, it is set up that way. It lacks any form of real human touch, other than literally a handful of somewhat seemingly normal/caring type of people. This whole voting based on 1. a limit of 7 days, and 2. it has to be done at a specific time/moment is bullshit IMO. They just preset the bots to "do their thing" at the "right moment".

I feel it would be much nicer if people who are so moved to give, should be able to do so when they come upon the content and feel 'moved within' to do it.

This is set up in a sterile, robotic, factory setting. It feels like someone taking a married couple (male+female) and telling them that they can not have sex, their sperm+eggs have been implanted into two robots who will do it for them. And the husband and wife are told they can not hold hands, kiss, or be intimate.

Humans are emotional creatures, and when and if I vote/like (here, YT, Twitter, FB) or anywhere else I do it when I feel 'moved from within'. That is what makes it fun, and spontaneous. Once those elements are removed and I am under a time restraint, trying to beat 10,000 robots.. who could give a rats ass about what the content is really about. They are just voting as a "pre-set" to earn their master rewards. This whole place is like a bot factory.

I understand this is by design I am just telling you how I see it.

And yes I know couples use things like invetro fertilization but that is not what I am referring to in my example.

This is a cold, sterile, hospital meets prison meets science lab, unwelcoming environment, for what otherwise should be natural human behavior (reacting to things in the moment, as they are moved) and not because they are racing robots on a clock.

Regardless of all that if my vote gives little or nothing then so be it. But why should my "up"vote TAKE.

Sorry for the caps just trying to express my thoughts. I am only human after all. Which is rare around here. lol

Thanks for your response in advance. :)

Lol, it's not your vote taking money, look on steemworld, does it reflect negative rshares?

The price dropped, some whale voted more posts after that one and his vote dropped in value, or a bunch of minnows did, if you can find evidence, more than what you saw, to support your upvote taking value, I would like to see it.

There aren't many folks here, that I can tell, we have to work with what we got.
Including the ones we may disagree with.

Still makes no sense to me. If I downvote and NEVER have any effect at all taking from peoples pay outs.. (which I know is because of low VP/SP blah blah blah. But that is aside from my point) so if my "down" votes have zero effect taking ANYthing from peoples payouts.. regardless of what a whale is up to. Why in the hell would my "UP"vote take? And yes it is each and every single time I give an "UP"vote. I should start upvoting enemies.. it literally strips large chunks every time.

This is no penny or two either.

Something is not right.

But what is new. Nothing.
