I can't think of any successful forks to date. In the end it lead to destruction of value for both camps. However, it doesn't mean it can't be done and we can't break those rules, but it is something that needs to be approached with caution and good organisation.

To date, I have had a number of direct responses to messages from Charles Hoskinson who runs a much bigger project than I have from @ned. And some of the stories I am hearing about the culture at @steemit is terrible.

So I could be convinced, but it's not something I would support just yet.

Yeah, until we got c++ coders its a leap of faith.

Just for the record, i would want to see provisions for stinc to keep the value of their coins while removing their influence from the chain, but i dont code,...
