Why Steemit is the best?

For starters, It is a social media and blogging platform where the users get paid for posting content.

The way Steemit pays the users is through a new technology that is all the 'RAGE' right now called the Blockchain.

If you ever heard of Bitcoin you probably know a little about the blockchain and cryptocurrency.

But if you didn't know what is a blockchain, here is a little something for you;

"The blockchain is an incorruptible digital ledger of economic transactions that can be programmed to record not just financial transactions but virtually everything of value.” (Don & Alex Tapscott, authors Blockchain Revolution, 2016)

So in essence it is really just a database that is stored on your PC and millions of others that is constantly getting bigger by the minute.

So back to Steemit, Steemit runs on the Steem blockchain, Steem is the currency just like Bitcoin is a currency and Steemit is what you and me interact with on a daily basis. Now by people creating good content like this ;) even commenting on other's content, can get people to upvote you and you can earn Steem (the currency).
