Stumbleupon was way way better than these later evolutions. I loved it when it was more pro blogger like steemit and Steepshot in one spot as well as having the stumbling component. Discovering new sites or being sent stumbles from friends felt more personal than Pinterest and Facebook. Plus there was a way to have a music player and playlist for those that wanted to spend time at ones profile and actually spend time reading their posts and stumble recommendations. There were other features like groups and chat rooms as well. I would love it if steemit can come close to the stumbleupon many enjoyed and now miss.
