Today I had the time to "Try" to repair a fan for the second time.
Two days ago I decided to repair a fan that I had been given as a gift and it wasn't working. The problem was that it didn't have enough power to spin. So, without doing any kind of test, I bought a new capacitor, changed it and it worked perfectly, but it only lasted about 5 hours.
Today I changed it for another capacitor and it didn't work, I performed different types of tests such as: I tested that the cable transmits electricity to the motor, that the speed selector is working, etc. I came to the conclusion that there was some type of problem in the winding.
Then, I remembered that I had another fan without a base, I set about inventing some sort of connector or graft to attach the fan to the mast of the non-working fan.
