Diary of the day!

I've started the day, and it's unconventionally unfolded, but in a way I like to handle it.

We started the day as usual. We got up, got ready, and took our daughters to school. After that, the real action began. After that, we gave thanks for everything and started the day with a prayer. We began our activities at the office, but before getting into the swing of things, we took some time to have breakfast alone or with a colleague while we caught up on the news we shared.

Today, I had arranged to give a presentation at one of my colleagues' offices in the neighboring country. I got ready to leave, and at the last minute, I decided to invite a colleague over. His answer was a resounding yes, so I had a few minutes to wait for him. And we started the journey together from Paraguay to Brazil.

Before that, I went to the page where you can see the traffic on the international bridge and that way we can calculate the estimated time to reach our destination. The bridge was very busy, so it took us more than 15 minutes, almost 25 minutes in total from the time we left our office until we arrived at our colleagues' office in Brazil. Once there, at the reception of the building, for various reasons, they held us up for more than 10 minutes until we finally arrived at the office and I began the presentation. The reality was that I didn't just dedicate myself to making the presentation, I gave them a practical overview justifying the reasons to invest in Paraguay, and we started a ping-pong session of questions and answers so they could learn more from what I was bringing them. It was a very good and productive time, as I also had the opportunity to present an exclusive development we're just beginning to market. By the end of the meeting, three of my colleagues had already identified three potential clients with whom we'll schedule a presentation for the projects. One of my colleagues, whose high-end client requested a personalized presentation of one of Paraguay's most important developments, had also been very productive.

It was midday, and the morning had been super productive. As I got off the elevator, I started a conversation with a stranger and introduced myself as a real estate agent. We talked for over 15 minutes about investments and other topics. 10 minutes after finishing the conversation, her real estate agent contacted me to offer me investment opportunities on different beaches in Brazil.

We returned to Paraguay over the same bridge, amidst the traffic chaos. I picked up my daughters from school, and we stopped for lunch together as a family. Immediately after lunch, we began two more visits with potential investors. After those visits, we began the last one at a residential club, thus concluding the day of client interviews. I had a few minutes left until 7 p.m. to pick up my daughter at her friend's house to return home. Just as I was passing a business, I saw the owner there. I got out of the car to chat for just a few minutes, and those minutes were enough to schedule a visit to a commercial space to relocate her business. After all that, we picked up our daughter and started the trip home to rest and regain our strength for the next day.

For me, these types of days are what position us, prepare us, and make us grow since we have different activities and we all do it very early. Not only do they make us achieve our work objectives, but many times we do the work as a family. And we are transmitting what we do daily, thus leaving in some way a legacy of work and relationships with clients and friends.
