Oh boy! Sorry to hear this happened to you! Cashing out is easy. You just need to open a coinbase account and use blocktrades to exchange your steem for bitcoin/ethereum/litecoin. Just follow the instructions blocktrades gives you. Or like @rebeccabe said, google it. Is very easy!
