The age of abundance, no doubt, is now upon us. Cryptocurrency is a wonder that would usher in this age. Although, like other innovations, people are kicking against it. I believe, like you do, that more people would embrace it.
Also, I read your other post about the US Congress endorsing blockchain. I think that is just the beginning of greater things to come.
This will mainly be a revolution for people living in the third world. For the rest it won't be that magical since they been living in abundance a long time now.
I consider this view as being parochial, although not entirely wrong. People in the Third World would benefit more, really. However, the developed world would also benefit massively from the decentralization of the blockchain like we are seeing already. If they've got all the abundance, as you've suggested, why are the majority of Steemians here from the West? My friend, the blockchain technology is here to bring abundance to the whole world.
Many are from the West since they see their culture is being run over now by globalism. Blockchain is a good way to have a chance at becoming rich. Globalism destroys a lot of culture in many countries and has made many places more dangerous than what it was in the past especially Europe region. The major winners are the third world.
