RE: [en/kr] 2 recent STEEM hot issues / STEEM의 최근 2가지 핫 이슈
Hey, great write-up.
But when a certain app suddenly got a lot of votes, an audit was conducted and a suspicion was found. The app had about 60 votes in the DPOLL than in the STEEM block chain.
This was primarily a problem within the DPOLL system and has been fixed. The causes are as follows.
To clarify, this is not a problem with dPoll. dPoll registered the votes as it supposed. However, some actors deleted their comments, which may trick people if they want to verify the votes via comments.
Deleting the comments is possible but it doesn't actually delete from the blockchain history. 60 votes are still verifiable on the blockchain, which I did already with the auditing post.
Dpoll will start to store transaction id for every vote to make auditing easier for 3rd parties.
I have corrected all the related content because it is a misleading expression. Thank you. I hope you continue to thrive.
