You don't have to post constantly...

in #steem7 years ago

Since I know steemit, I recognized that everyone (including me) is trying to create content for those shiny steem coins. However content creation is not for everyone. Who thinks that everyone could create funny videos, meaningful posts or beautiful pictures is just hell wrong. Sadly most of us is not so talented or genuine to create top class content. The problem is creating shit content takes as much resources as creating a top tier one. It takes your time, your imagination and on steemit it consumes some reward (depending on you and your followers).

The happy side of the story, that everyone receives curation rewards also, so you could remain in the shadows, reading top content and still earn money. In addition, I automatize my upvote system and selling my upvotes here. Besides that, you also earn some inflation rewards for holding SteemPower, so it is truly profitable to be the part of the community, but you can do it by commenting, upvoting and living the normal life, like you used to on other platforms and you (and me) can leave content creation for the pros. This is my two cents on the topic. Thanks. :)

I agree but you can't get any meaningful curation rewards without a decent amount of Steem Power.

Thats true, however it seems a bit counter productive to me, how the system works. Probably we need more curation rewards and less publshing rewards. I dont know, but we are creting shit day-by-day and it will be a problem.

Hi, great post, worth a follow. Looking forward to some more of your stuff.

You can also earn through commenting and engaging other users on the platform. It can be fruitful to take that avenue, as well. This is especially true when you're starting out. If you build out that network of people following you because you talked to them, they're more likely to upvote your comments and also upvote your posts when you do finally start posting.

You'd be amazed how much that can do...

It is also amazing how many people here won't remember you commenting or don't really care, one common thing I have noticed is that there is some conceited game of prestige going on with some users here who think they are little "superstar-fish" so they never leave their own blogs/comment aquarium, (except for when brown-nosing the occasional whale)...

But yeah commenting helps and we should stick together more and help each-other (but humans just don't really do that very well), but buying bots, that works, bots are nice, they don't treat you like shit, check out this guys post for the complete manual on how to succeed here and get to the trending page with any old sh*tpost... =) /cheers everyone! =)

Those are the ones you want to ignore, then. Build an organic relationship with a handful of decent people at the start. As you grow, they grow. And you help each other out. Add a few here and there, sure. But build with the people who care as much about your growth as they do about theirs.

Oh god, I haven't heard that song in years...

Thanks for the trip down memory lane!
