You raise a very good point here. I've seen an awful lot of negativity about Steem from people inside and out. Actually, I left the Turtlecoin community because of their negative reaction to Steem. Nevermind I would have never heard of the coin if it hadn't been for another Steemian.

That said, the internal sentiment isn't always the best, either. If we really want to get through these admittedly rough waters, we need to focus on building. It's been my focus all this time, and it's not going to stop any time soon.
