How do you send STEEM to other steem people?

I am not sure exactly and I see how people are transferring STM and STM Dollars.

Anyone know a good guide or blog post or comment here.

Go to your wallet then click on your balance (steem) then click transfer and enter the amount and the account name you want to send the steem to.
