What is this Steem Coin Competition raising money for?

We believe this is first Steemit Crowdfunding Project which offers a prize for the chosen winner at the end of the week!

The Steem power raised from this competition will assist in funding the development of a Health Care App. The Apps goal is to directly enhance the provision of mental health care in rural Australia, where distance and isolation are huge barriers to accessing care. I am a Medical Student and this project is a passion of mine! Ultimately we are looking to raise $100 000 AUD to cover the quoted cost of building this App. We are hoping to raise both awareness and steem power from running this competition, which can then be used to fund the costs of building the App.

Coin Information & Projections:

NEM - NEM stands out from other cryptos because its blockchain has been built from scratch. The value of its native currency XEM has soared since the start of 2017 as the potential of this technology has become more public. NEM has much more room for growth because its vision is clear - become a currency and provide modern and professional services to support commerce that takes place in XEM tokens. Its hard to find other cryptos with such a succinct goal.

Verge (XVG)- This crypto is said to be the most private of all. Transaction privacy is popular right now and its possible that all of the privacy coins could rise together. With such a low market cap the upside potential of this coin is high.

If the $1800 threshold is not reached, we will reassess what funds have been raised, and if they are in excess of our initial outlay cost, including the 25% payment to Steem It and personal cost of purchasing the coins, we will draw the winner as planned.
