The Little Bird Who Found a Home

I took some pictures of this bird (He's asleep). This bird has been at my grandfather's house for two years. There’s a small hole in the wall, like a window but without any wood or covering just a simple hole. And that’s how the bird comes and goes.

At first, it used to stay in a different spot higher up in the house. about three months ago, it changed its place and started sleeping above the lamp.

The reason it moved from its original spot was that some cats were born in my grandfather’s house. Their mother gave birth there, and my grandfather let them stay. The kittens often climb up, play, and move around, which frightened the bird, so it decided to move closer to the lamp for safety.

Every time I visit my grandfather, I always check on the bird, it feels like part of the family now.
