International Conference on Turkey Rohingyas
Turkey announced Wednesday that the international meeting will be held on July 6 in the capital Ankara due to the Rohingya issue. In this meeting, Rohingya Muslims will find out the cause of humanitarian crisis. Bhaban Anadolu Agency
The country's Foreign Ministry said, "Turkey will continue its efforts to find ways to solve the humanitarian crisis for Rohingya Muslims.
It is said that, in order to solve the humanitarian crisis of Rohingyas, there will be international discussions with respected countries and active organizations. Find out the causes of the problem in this discussion. Will be held in Ankara on July 6.
Turkey's Ministry of Health, Non-Profit Organization, Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD), Turkey's Red Crescent and Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Organization (TIKA) will participate in this meeting.
According to Amnesty International, more than 750,000 Rohingya Muslims from Myanmar fleeing from Myanmar on August 25, 2017 and fled to Mymensan and crossing the border to Bangladesh.
According to Doctor Without Border, 9,400 Rohingya have been killed in Myanmar's Rakhine since 25 August, 2017.
According to the UN, Rohingyas are the most oppressed ethnic groups in the world today.
