I find it fascinating that the leaf, the way you've captured it, looks like a pair of lungs. Leaves are, in a way, the lungs of nature. Their stomata absorb carbon dioxide and release oxygen. They exchange air with us. A beautiful book that captures leaves, and stomata, up close is, "On an Acre Shy of Eternity", by Robert Dash. Dash uses an electron microscope to photograph nature. He lets us see leaves, and other wonders, in a way we have never done before. I like your picture. It caught my eye, and my imagination
